Location

Love-Lee Cottage is set in a tranquil spot, within Lee Woods, West Devon, on the river Lew. The award winning market town of Tavistock is closeby, as is Dartmoor and the Cornish border, so ideally located for exploring Devon and Cornwall.  The beaches of North Cornwall are a 45 minute drive away.  There are excellent restaurants in nearby Tavistock and Launceston, and various pubs and hotels renowned for good quality food.

Things to do

Leading directly from the cottage is an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways, and nearby Dartmoor also offers ample opportunities for walking, cycling, wildlife photography etc.  The Devon Cycle Network (Route 27) is very close by, as is the Granite Way, Drake's Trail and the Tamar trails.

 

Watersports are available on nearby Roadford Lake.

 

The rivers can be fished, via the 'Westcountry Angling Passport' (westcountryangling.com).

Or spend the day relaxing on the private river bank, with exclusive use of the Romany caravan.
